Peter Wilson, Founder and CEO
Peter Wilson was born in Covington, Louisiana. He attended Woodberry Forest School in Virginia, Wofford College in South Carolina, and later earned both his law degree and MBA from Tulane University in New Orleans.
Before founding Oxlot Capital in 2025, Peter practiced law for eight years as a partner at a boutique New Orleans firm, representing developers, lenders, and investors in structuring, negotiating, and documenting a wide range of commercial transactions. His legal practice focused on project development, private equity investment, and historic rehabilitation — experience that continues to inform his vision for Oxlot.
With deep roots in Louisiana and a passion for preserving the city’s architectural heritage, Peter founded Oxlot Capital to focus on forward-thinking projects along New Orleans’ historic corridors, with a special emphasis on Magazine Street. His goal is to create enduring spaces that both honor tradition and define communities.
